The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former two time unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
